Wooden salt cellar is executed in the Neo-Russian style in the shape of a traditional peasant wooden chair-shaped salt box, featuring a hinged lid and high vertical triangular backrest with applied silver details. The walls, lid, and backrest of the salt cellar are decorated with smooth applied filigree scrollwork. The front wall, lid, and backrest feature applied shaped plates with smooth central medallions; the corners are adorned with stylized buds. The triangular backrest is surmounted by a circular openwork finial with the image of a bird inside, complemented by two pendants made of translucent blue stones. Oval purple cabochon stone decorates the shaped plate on the backrest of the salt cellar.
