Spherical wooden salt cellar with a removable lid, a high silver handle, and set on three silver ball feet. Designed in the Neo-Russian style, the body and the lid of the salt cellar are decorated with applied silver bands. An openwork band composed of circles alternately enclosing images of a floral rosette and a horse is located on the lid. A band of foliate ornament consisting of stylized acanthus and clover leaves adorns the lower part of the lid; the high, conical silver handle with a spherical knob is decorated with a geometric pattern. The body of the salt cellar is adorned with a wide band featuring a frieze of circles with stylized rosettes and stars inside, with spiral scrolls between the circles. The feet of the salt cellar are decorated with spiral scrolls and floral rosettes.
