Rectangular tabletop notepad consisting of a top hinged silver lid mounted on the plinth-stand made of white stone with yellowish stratified inclusions (marble?). The surface of the lid is decorated with enamelled composition within a shaped filigree frame, depicting a peacock with outspread wings and lowered tail, perched on floral scroll with green leaves and light orange flowers. The image is colored with polychrome (lilac, yellow, green, blue) mottled enamels against light, sand-colored background. In the upper left and right sections, the composition is bordered by foliage-geometric enamel pattern of filigree spiral scrolls on white, light green, and lilac backgrounds, yellow flower bud, lilac triangles on light background, white circles, and multi-petaled rosettes. On the left side, along the frame, are four spiral scrolls extending from it; at the bottom, the frame is adorned with three "descending" shaped light green leaves with orange eight-petaled rosette in the center. The inner side of the lid is lined with green cloth. The decoration of the notepad is executed in the Neo-Russian style.
