Marks on the outer surface of the bottom: the firm's mark – "О.КУРЛЮКОВЪ"; the "triple" hallmark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1908–1917 – a woman's head in a kokoshnik turned to the right, with the fineness number "84" and the district code letter represented by the Greek letter "delta"; the verification mark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1908–1917 for small component parts.
The sugar bowl is made of silver, internally gilded, cylindrical with slight expansion in the lower part of the form, with two handles. The body of the sugar bowl is decorated with relief composition consisting of laurel wreath suspended from stylized lambrequins (festoons). To the right and to the left of the wreath there are scroll-stems; inside there is engraved artistically designed monogram "ИС". The handles are free from decor.
