On the outer surface of the bottom: for the firm – “О.КУРЛЮКОВЪ”; for the factory – “МС”; triple hallmark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1899–1908 – a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the left with silver fineness number “84” and initials of the district assay master I. Lebedkin “ИЛ”. On the thumb rest: validation mark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1899–1908 for details – a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the left with initials of the district assay master I. Lebedkin “ИЛ”, enclosed in a circle.
Silver, gilded glass holder, cylindrical in shape, resting on a smooth circular molded base, featuring an S-shaped handle and a thumb rest plate. Body of the glass holder is decorated with two large circular medallions containing niello images of a fragment of the Moscow Kremlin panorama and the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, and two small circular medallions — one with a carved monogram “OC” and the other with an ornamental rosette. Space between the medallions is filled with stylized niello floral ornamentation against a matted background.
