On the inner surface of the lid: for the factory – “МС”; validation mark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1908–1917 for details – a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right with a dot behind the neck, enclosed in a circle. On the bottom: for the firm – “О.КУРЛЮКОВЪ”; for the factory – “МС”; triple hallmark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1908–1917 – a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right with silver fineness number “84” and the district code as the Greek letter “delta”; validation mark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1908–1917 for details – a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right with a dot behind the neck, enclosed in a circle. Unreadable hallmarks on the spout.
Silver, gilded coffee pot, conical in shape, featuring a removable lid with a ball-shaped finial separated by a bone insulator, and a shaped handle with two bone insulators. On the body of the coffee pot, within two oval medallions, there are niello images of the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin and the Cathedral of the Intercession on the Moat. Two small circular medallions — one smooth and blank, the other with a carved monogram “OC” — are located on the lid of the piece. Space between the medallions is filled with stylized niello floral ornamentation. Spout of the coffee pot is decorated with a shaped vignette featuring niello floral ornament; the shaped handle is adorned with niello floral scrolls. Ornaments are executed against a matted (chased) background.
