On the bottom: for the firm – “О.КУРЛЮКОВЪ”; for the factory – “МС”; triple hallmark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1908–1917 – a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right with silver fineness number “84” and the district code as the Greek letter “delta”; validation mark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1908–1917 for details – a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right with a dot behind the neck, enclosed in a circle. On the inner surface of the lid: for the factory – “МС”; validation mark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1908–1917 for details – a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right with a dot behind the neck, enclosed in a circle.
Silver, gilded sugar bowl, conical in shape, featuring removable lid with a ball-shaped finial separated by a bone insulator, and two shaped handles. Body of the sugar bowl is decorated with two circular medallions containing niello images of the Cathedral of the Intercession on the Moat and the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. Two small circular medallions — one smooth and blank, the other with a carved monogram “OC” — are located on the lid of the piece. Space between the medallions is filled with stylized niello floral ornamentation against a matted (chased) background. Handles are adorned with the same ornamentation.
