This year marks the 210th anniversary of Gioachino Rossini’s immortal masterpiece, "The Barber of Seville". We recently shared insights into the great Italian composer’s personality, character, and habits, but today, we invite you to focus on the main thing – his music.

Rossini's works held a special place in European musical culture during the 19th and 20th centuries. Melodies from his operas filled not only theatres and concert halls but also echoed from music boxes, clocks, and automata, and were later recorded on phonograph cylinders and gramophone records.
