The "Authors/Manufacturers" section on the museum Collection website has been updated with the biography of the French Art Nouveau artist, jeweler, and designer Lucien Bonvallet (1861–1919).

Lucien Bonvallet was a prominent figure in French applied arts at the turn of the 20^th century. For many years, he served as the chief designer for the renowned Paris silverware house Cardeilhac. In his work, Bonvallet combined structured, clean lines with natural motifs. A defining feature of his style was the use of raised ornaments depicting bamboo stalks, mistletoe leaves, thistle, and columbine in his designs for cutlery, vases, decanters, and liqueur sets.

In his practice, the artisan combined various materials, including silver, patinated copper, ivory, Baccarat crystal, and ceramics by Auguste Delaherche. Items created on the base of his sketches were exhibited at the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle. Today, Lucien Bonvallet's works are held in the collections of major international institutions, including the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, and are also featured in the museum Collection repository.
