Congratulations on International Children's Day
The International Children's Day is celebrated annually in more than 30 countries and is one of the oldest international holidays. It was launched in 1925 at the World Conference on Child Welfare in Geneva. Children's Day was first celebrated in 1950 in 51 countries around the world. The UN supported the initiative and declared protection of children's rights, life and health one of its priorities.
New selection* recorded for the International Children's Day and comprised of musical peices performed by children's art groups is posted in the museum Collection Phonoteque.
