Dear friends, we are pleased to announce that today at 18:00, on the Day of Russian Cinematography, the third, final lecture from the course devoted to the music of Russian motion pictures will be held as exemplified by recordings from the museum Sound Library.

In the final part of the cycle, we will continue to talk about the role of film score accompanying the National motion pictures, the history and development of the most impactful motion picture studios in the Soviet republics, about the peculiarities of the national movies’ musical design and about rather short but bright period of creative freedom - the Khrushchev Thaw, as well as listen to the gramophone records from our collection of sound.
