This year, the Russian branch of the auction house Sotheby's is celebrating its anniversary. As a part of the festive events, an exhibition of various art objects, acquired by Russian collectors at the auction house during the latest years is opened in Moscow. The exhibition presents about 40 objects from private collections, acquired at the auctions in Moscow and St. Petersburg. These works demonstrate the scale and significance of private collections in Russia. Museum Collection of David Iakobachvili is presented at this exhibition by several significant sculptures and decorative arts items.
