A music movement, covered with a plate with engraved ornament in the form of acanthus leaves is under the lid to the left, a compartment for tobacco is to the right. The lid inner side and tobacco compartment are polished, with hallmarks on the panels and welt. Music movement activation lever, an aperture for a spring winding, and a sticker are on the ribbed left lateral panel. A miniature musical movement consists of a spring motor, a programe cylinder with pins and a steel sound comb.
