An open-faced mechanical pocket watch in a circular case with two covers, a polished back cover, a bezel, a bow, and a profiled suspension ring with a bar.

Behind the spherical glass cover, the dial field is framed by a blue enamel band with golden geometric pattern, featuring a polychrome enamel depiction of rural landscape and blacksmith shop. In the foreground, there are three cupids of multi-colored gold with arrows, birds, and flowers. The left-hand cupid with movable arm and leg sharpens an arrow by pressing the pedal of a grinding machine; the cupid standing in the center with a hammer in movable arm forges an arrow on an anvil; the right-hand cupid with movable arm operates the bellows, pumping air into a furnace with flames.

In the upper section, there is white enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, minute tracks with Arabic numerals at 15-minute intervals on the external track, and two golden hands. A lever to turn the automaton on/off is on the rim. Three winding holes with arbours for winding the watch, the automaton, and setting the hands are on the cuvette.

The watch movement features a simple brass three-arm balance wheel, cylinder escapement, engraved bridges, an automaton, and a mainspring barrel. When the automaton is activated, all cupids move their arms, the left-hand cupid moves his leg, and the grinding wheel rotates. The watch was made for the Chinese market.
