An open-faced mechanical pocket watch in circular, smooth gold case with hinged front and back covers, an automaton activation stem, and suspension ring.
White enamel dial features black Arabic hour numerals and minute tracks. The slender blued steel central hour and minute hands are designed with diamond-shaped Breguet open-tipped hands. On the dial plate, there are two holes with square winding arbours. A regulator lever is located adjacent to the dial.
Beneath the glass on the reverse side of the case is an automaton depicting a kitchen interior with stove, hearth, and water source against painted background. Inside the kitchen are two female figures, a basket of provisions, a cat, and a dog. One woman is working at a spinning wheel, while the other is seated on the floor. When the automaton is activated, the spinning wheel and the spit-drive wheel in the hearth – with chickens skewered on it – begin to rotate. A dog runs inside the spit wheel. A rotating twisted metal rod simulates the movement of running water. The interior and automaton elements are made of multi-colored gold.7287MCA461/ДПИ
