    On the rear lid inner sides and on cuvette: “3138”, mark “K18”, small Swiss assay mark “Helvetia”, mark in the shape of Putti with a bell in his hand (on the lid only), on the movement: “Le Coultre & Cie”


    Mechanical open face pocket watch in round gold case with smooth rim and smooth polished rear lid. Remontoir with fluted crown and oval copper ring is fixed above the twelve o’clock mark. A button for switching the head in the position for hands’ adjusting is next to it, near eleven o’clock mark. The automaton is mounted on the watch front side under the hinged glass lid with smooth bezel. Round white enamel dial with gold minutes’ divisions around the circumference, black Arabic numerals for hours’ designation and two central openwork gold hands is on blue-finished steel clock field. Small second dial with black seconds’ divisions, Arabic numerals for five-second partitions and straight gold central hand is set on the six o’clock mark. The dial is surrounded by chiselled onlay automaton elements from pink gold – Chronos with a scythe in his right hand and a hammer in his left one, standing on the wheel to the left of the dial, two Putti figurines are to the right, one above the other. The upper Putti holds two bells in his hands, the lower one holds a flower in his left hand and a small hammer in his right one. A cornucopia is below the dial. The automaton and repeater are activated by pressing a sliding lever on the lateral side of the watchcase. The strike and repeating are performed by two hammers upon two gongs simultaneously with the movements of the automaton characters. The watch movement with lever escapement, bimetallic compensated balance mounted on nickel-plated cocks is covered with smooth, free of inscriptions gilded cuvette.
