Clock is mounted in the gilded bronze case in the form of shell-shaped chariot, on rectangular gilded base with corrugated ornament on the top panel, on oval wooden mahogany veneered stand, on four chiselled supports, with a groove for the protective dome.
Cupid sitting in a swan-harnessed chariot holds the reins in the left hand. Convex white enamel wheel shaped dial with Roman numerals for hours’ designation, minutes’ divisions, two black hands, aperture with the pin the clock escapement winding and aperture for the escapement adjustment, in the bezel with ornately shaped ornament. Musical movement with sound comb, spring motor and pinned cylinder for two tunes is mounted in the stand. The cord with suspension bracket for winding the movement is on the right side.
Brass plate with the musical movement control fixers with explanatory inscriptions in French “Changer”, “Jouer” is on the front side: The clock movement is pendulum, with verge escapement, 30-hour period of running, spring engine and a fusee. The clock rear side is closed with round polished lid. Glass dome is in the set.
