Carriage clock in brass gilded case with engraved patterns, on the protruding base. Glazed window with clock escapement indicator, repeater button and folding ornately shaped handle are on the upper panel. Lateral sides are glazed, glazed doors are on the front and rear sides; the glass is faceted. Three white enamel dials are on the brass guilloche clock face: the dial with Roman numerals, minute divisions, two hands, the inscription “Auguste Courvoisier et Com / La Chaux-de-Fonds” and small seconds’ dial, alarm clock and calendar, thermometer with Reaumur scale and three apertures with pins for the alarm, clockwork and calendar winding. Musical movement on/off lever is on the base front side, the aperture with winding pin of the movement is on the bottom panel. The clockwork is balanced with attached lever escapement, quarter hour chime on two bells, alarm clock and pinned cylinder for two melodies, sound comb and spring motor.
Brown leather case with
embossed ornament, carrying handle and the double end key are in the set.
