    The horizontal sheet features a military topographic map of the Transcaucasia – the region limited by the Black, Caspian and Azov Seas, with the indication of governorate, county and district cities, fortresses, fortifications, settlements, railway roads, developed roads and high roads.

    An inscription in Russian is in the cartouche on top right side: "Карта ЗАКАВКАЗЬЯ. Приложенiе къ книге "Закавказье" соч. Полковника Лисовскаго 1897 года. Литогр. Дюстерика въ Тифлисе".

    On the bottom left there is Decoding of the map symbols in the Russian language is on the bottom left side of the sheet.
