Weight-driven phonograph mechanism with centrifugal governor is mounted on a
shaped cast chassis featuring protruding feet in the corners. The mechanism case
is assembled from rectangular brass panels connected by pins. A mandrel shaft passes through the housing. The
long end of the shaft, extending from one side of the housing, is slotted and
serves for mounting the wax cylinder onto it.
