Inscriptions engraved on the top and side panels of the mechanism feature brand logos shaped as a small shield inside large one, reading: “PHONOGRAPHE LIORET/MARQUE DÉPOSÉE”. A musical note and the letters “HL” are positioned within the small shield. Serial number ‘5279’ is on the side
The phonograph mechanism is mounted on shaped cast metal plinth finished in black lacquer and decorated with fine goldish lines. The plinth is fixed on wooden panel that serves as the bottom of the transit case. The upper section of the case, equipped with a metal bow handle for carrying, slots over the top and is fastened to the bottom by four draw latches.
