Rectangular wooden box with lock and hinged lid. The case and the lid are painted imitating rosewood. The top surface is decorated with a sticker. The image of a harp surrounded by emblems is in the center. Floral patterns and swirls, images of angels playing musical instruments and inscription "Symphonion Brevete-Patent" are in the corners. An image of a girl sitting on a bench and reading a book, a boy, playing flute, and little boy with a bouquet of flowers and a letter in his hands are on the lid inner side. Musical movement consists of a metal disk and a sound comb for 36 tunes. The tune is activated by rotating the crank, which is inserted in the aperture on the lid right side. Music media: metal disk.
