Rectangular casket on four feet with two handles and removable lid, decorated with enamel filigree in the Russian style. The sides of the casket are ornated with fancy floral pattern on metal repousse background, flowers with rich curled leaves growing apart on both sides in bilateral symmetry. The sides bottom and upper edges are highlighted with bands of geometrical ornament (the so called "gorodki") with light blue and green enamel complemented by small golden stars, filigree bundle and a row of filigree rings with white enamel. The central part of the casket removable lid is decorated with a polypetalous rosette over light blue background, the rosette is enclosed in the circle of filigree rings with light blue enamel. The rosette is presented in the ornately shaped medallion with white background and a polychrome flower swag. The lid edge is belted with sharp-leaved ornament and bundle filigree. The handles of the casket are made in the form of stylized roosters. The feet are in the form of bird’s feet fixed on the spheres. The color scheme of the enamels is based on the combination of white, blue, light blue, turquoise, green, red, and light violet tints.
