The sides are decorated with rectangular panels of translucent dark blue enamel over guilloché ground, featuring depictions of attributes such as a quiver, arrows, a wreath, and torches. The surfaces of the canted corners are adorned with rectangular reserves of dark blue enamel over guilloché ground, complete with frame; the corners themselves are fashioned as stylized columns. The side surface of the lid and the lower part of the body are decorated with ornamental border.
