A rectangular-shaped snuffbox made of white and purple amethyst quartz with a hinged lid, featuring an openwork gold mount and gold mount along the contour of the base. The top of the lid is decorated with narrative relief scene depicting a hunter sitting down to rest by a tree. The side surface of the lid mount is adorned with fluted waves, while the base mount features a zigzag ornament.
