    A vase in the form of a hippocamp – a sea creature with a horse's head, wings, a tail, and a rounded body – on a baluster stem with an oval base. The body, stem, and base are made of rock crystal, covered with foliate-geometric ornament and mounted in silver with polychrome enamel.
