Marks. On the bottom: the firm's mark – "О. КУРЛЮКОВЪ"; the factory's mark – "МС"; the "triple" hallmark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1899–1908 – a woman's head in a kokoshnik turned to the left, with the fineness number "84" and the initials of the district assay master Ivan Lebedkin – "ИЛ". On one of the handle's hinges: the verification mark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1899–1908 for small component parts. On the inner side of the arched handle: the factory's mark – "МС"; the verification mark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1899–1908 for small component parts.
The sugar bowl is made of gilded silver, pear-shaped, on a smooth base, with an arched hinged handle. On the body, within two oval medallions, there are niello images of fragments of the Moscow Kremlin panoramas (featuring the Spasskaya Tower in one medallion and the Grand Kremlin Palace in the other). Small, blank circular medallions are positioned on both sides between the oval ones. The space between the medallions is filled with a stylized niello floral ornament on a chased (granulated) background.
