Silver goblet with tulip-shaped bowl. Conical stem is fixed on three-tiered round base, with detachable conical lid. The goblet smooth surface is decorated with the belt of laurel leaves with a round medallion with onlay date “XXV” in the center. The onlay image of two-headed eagle with an orb and a sceptre in its claws, framed by onlay enamel ensigns of the Imperial Eestimaa Maritime Club (white panel with straight blue cross, the national Russian tricolour in canopy and Imperial crown) is above the medallion. Onlay date “1888-1913” is below the medallion. Onlay Cyrillic abbreviature of the Imperial Eestimaa Maritime Yacht Club is on the stem. The stepped base upper part and detachable lid are decorated with “scaly” ornament. The detachable lid that is ornated with the image Eestimaa province, Russian Empire coat of arms (three azure leopard lions on gold background; the shield is crowned with the Imperial crown and surrounded by gold oak leaves linked by St. Andrew’ ribbon). |
