The ceramic vase features an unusual double-rhombus (or hexagonal) shape, seamlessly joined in the center. The vase front features two rhombus-shaped medallions depicting a scene from the fable of the tortoise and the hare. The lateral and rear panels of the vase are decorated with wild plants, blossoms, and insects.
