On the eve Carl Faberge - one of the greatest Russian jewelers birthday we invite you to the lecture-webinar "Carl Faberge: jewelry business manager".

Today, the name of Carl Faberge is associated with the works of decorative art at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. He was especially famous for the presentation gifts that the Russian emperors Alexander III and Nicholas II presented to the Empresses for Easterholidays - the amazing compositions of precious metals, gems and enamels in the shape of eggs.

The artisans who worked at the Faberge firm reached unprecedented heights in working with enamel, gem-cutting and creating sculptures from it. Compositional masterpieces and small precious trinkets were notable for their unsurpassed quality of execution, and the names of the picked craftsman-men of the time - Isaac Rappoport, Mikhail Perkhin, Heinrich Wigström, who collaborated with Carl Faberge, compiles the glory of the Russian jewelry school and are still very popular among the connoisseurs of antiquities.

How did a small workshop started to create items for the Imperial family? What distinguished the managerial approach of Carl Faberge?
