170 years since the birth of Carl Fabergé were executed on May 30, 2016. He was born in Russia and devoted his entire life to the development of the Russian jewellery. Having headed the firm created by his father Gustav Fabergé in 1870, he managed to gain recognition and glory not only in Russia, but also far beyond its boundaries.

Goldsmiths, who worked in his firm mastered new technologies of processing metals, developed their own methods of work with gemstones. Other goldsmiths willingly worked on the models and sketches created in Fabergé's workshop. The successful and fruitful cooperation of Fabergé workshop with jewellery factories of Holmstrem and Tilman, Perchin, Reymer, Collins, Rappoport, Arne, Vakev, etc. continued for many years.

The famous jeweller not only created the dynasty, but also united the most talented masters. He was the person who searched talented masters. One of the most known was a self-taught person from a family of peasants - Mikhail Evlampievich Perchin, who became an art director of the firm in 1885. He created unique pieces of jewellery that glorified Fabergé's brand all over the world. By the way, on June 4 we will celebrate 156 years since the birth of this famous jeweller.

Items produced by Fabergé firm were exposed at various exhibitions and always scored great success. Therefore, for example, at the World Fair of 1900 in Paris, Carl Fabergé was honored by the title of Parisian guild of jewellers master and the Legion of Honor order.
