All three lids marked - "14K", "JL" in oval. The lids of the case and movement have mark "squirrel", "4182". On the top lid: "82". Inscription on the dail: "M.P. KALASCHNIKOFF & FILS No 4182"
Mechanical pocket watch in smooth round gold case, with three lids and decorative crown with ring. The top lid and the case lid are decorated with guilloche. The engraved inscription is on the movement lid "No 4182 M.P. Kalaschnikoff & fils / 8 JOURS DE MARCHE".
Gold dial is decorated with floral and geometric ornaments in the center; the numerals on the hour scale are golden (for hours and minutes) and black (for seconds), the hands are of blued steel. Three scales are on the dial - the minutes' one is divided with dots into 60 graduations; the hours' - divided into 12 graduations with Roman numerals and small seconds' dial with Arabic numerals.
The movement with ruby jewels and pierced bimetallic balance wheel with screws, spring-powered lever escapement, eight days period winding and hands indicating hours, minutes and seconds. The watch is key winded. The same key is used to set the hands as well.
The watch is stored in the branded wooden box inscribed [in Cyrillic] “M. P. Kalashnikov and Son in Moscow since 1832”.
