Clock with musical movement in walnut veneered wooden case, mounted on the pedestal with carved ornament, profiled base on four supports and inclined compartment for storing disks. The clockwork case with chiselled columns, mascaron, a tympanum and two small round towels on the sides. The opening door with the glazed round window, with rim, with carved ornament on the corners, and hook is on the front side. Pendulum clockwork with white round dial, golden central part, with ornaments in the Modern style, Arabic numerals hour graduations and minute graduations, with two ornately shaped hands, two apertures for winding the clock and chime; with pendulum, half-hour single-string chime, Graham escapement, maker’s mark “Lenzkirch”, serial number and a key. A rotary switching lever and metal ornately shaped key plate are on the left side. Two round plates for removable cranks are on the right side. The opening door with lock and vertical curly walnut root veneered panel is on the case. Two lozenge-shaped plates with central rosette are on the faced center. The pilasters with flutes, ionic order capitals and carved ornament are on the sides. Three golden-colored rectangular chassis with musical movements are mounted inside the case. The central movement is mounted further than the upper and lower ones. Each movement with two sound combs, two plates with cuts and crawler wheels on the axes, with the number “227066”, the brand name in the form of a lyre with ribbon and inscription: “SYMPHONION”. An axis that matches the central aperture of the metal disk is between them.
Musical disc movement with two spring motors simultaneously plays three synchronized discs. Six sound combs, 50 teeth each, sound. The movement stops automatically. The case serves as a soundboard. Seven units of three discs each (disc diameter 34.5 cm) are in the set.
