    The clock is mounted on the front panel central part of the cast gilded bronze case. The case is ornately shaped with embossed ornament in the form of military trophies on patinated surface on both sides with laurel branches hanging down along the lateral ribs. The socle with ribbed slanting plinth, leaves-shaped ornament, bead chains and flower garlands around three patinated panels, rack-shaped front supports with curls and leaves. Sculptural composition with equestrian figure in chain mailed shirt and stockings, sitting astride a horse in rich harness, with fluttering tail, with swollen nostrils, at the moment of victory over the defeated enemy, whose armour lies on a hillock - a cuirass, an axe, a shield and glockenspiel is on the case top panel. A sword and a dagger in sheath are on the equestrian belt, he is wearing a medallion on his chest.

    White enamel clock dial with regular ornament and chain of beads, with Roman numerals for hours’ designation and minutes’ divisions on the external ring, with two apertures with pins for the clock and strike winding, an aperture for adjustment the clock escapement above the twelve o’clock mark and two blued steel ornately shape hands. Embossed ornament in the shape of branches and crown is above the dial. A helmet, sword, arrows, flagpoles and battle-axe in ribbons are below it.

    Round aperture behind which the movement is visible is in the case rear side, number “5” and lentil-shaped mark with inscription: “S: WEHL ST. PETERSBURG” are below. The clockwork is pendulum on spring suspension with half an hour strike of a hammer upon bell, with the counter on the notch wheel, lever escapement, mark in the circle with circumscription “MEDAILLE D’ARGENT” and inscription “Vincenti & Cie” on the plate in the center and two spring motors. Two winding keys are in the set.
