    Musical clock in cylindrical case with gilded bronze cast ornament, mounted on white marble column with flutes,  with onlay cast ornament in the form of trophies, on oval base with protruding front part and socle with chiseled ornament in the form of playing putti, on six supports. A composition of military trophies is above the clock on black marble site - helmet with plume on  Fasces, hafted axe and flagstaff with crescent moon,  ram’s head,  banner and standards,  sword and torch,  bomb, cannon balls and oak branch with acorns. Two half-columns of black marble with figures of goddesses, the left one with a palm leaf, the right one -  with cudgel are mounted on the base upper panel decorated with pearl-shaped stripe. White enamel clock face with hours' graduations by Roman  numerals,  and minutes' in 15 divisions - by Arabic numerals , with two figured hands with heraldic lilies, two apertures for winding  the clock and the strike, aperture for adjusting the clock escapement  and handwritten inscription in red “Gavelle L’é A Paris” is covered with the glazed lid with knob. The rear side of the clock is closed with glazed door with latch. The base upper part base and socle are connected by four rectangular columns of black marble with stands, capitals and gilded bronze onlays. Openwork panel with  oval medallion with ornament in the form of musical trophies, ribbons and oak branches is mounted on the front panel, the base lateral sides are closed with openwork lattices and a pale lilac fabric. The rear hinged polished door, with lock, provides access to the musical movement - the organ with 24 wooden pipes, the fusee and pinned cylinder. Registers' levers are on the left side, two switches and the aperture with pin for winding the spring are on the right side, the activating lever is on the back. The musical movement plays one of thirteen tunes every hour or as desired. The clockwork is with pendulum on  silk suspension, sun-shaped pendulum lens, with lever escapement, spring motor, an hour strike on the bell and the scale on the notched wheel. Two keys are in the set.
