Mechanical carriage clock, in a right-angled gilt-brass case with glassed front and side panels, a rear access door, on a profiled base with a figured drop carrying handle.
The clock case facets are decorated with Corinthian columns with capitals, the "cornice" and the base - with a row of dentils.
White enamel big and small dials on gilt-brass background with black hour scale marking and blued steel Brequet clock hands.
The big dial features two scales: a minute scale is split into 60 divisions with Arabic numerals; an hour scale is split into 12 divisions with Roman numerals. The small alarm dial is split into 12 divisions, with Arabic numerals.
Pendulum motion movement with anchor escapement, bimetallic balance-wheel, double drum, the alarm device, music cylinder movement for four tunes, a gong for chime/repeater/alarm with eight days power reserve.
The clock is winded with a key, which is also used to set the hands.
