The cast chassis supporting the phonograph mechanism is mounted on the top projecting cover of a rectangular wooden case featuring a molded base. The stepped cornice and plinth are decorated with carved ionic ornament. A goldish logo depicting a rooster listening to a phonograph and a banner reading “JE CHANTE HAUT ET CLAIR” is applied to the front side of the case.
