    The phonograph mechanism is mounted on a lacquered wooden base. The phonograph is closed with a semicircular plywood cover featuring a carrying handle. A gold-colored ribbon-shaped logo with the inscription 'THE GRAPHOPHONE' is applied to the front side of the cover using the decalcomania method. The cover is secured to the base by two side twist latches. The open mechanism is mounted on a shaped, nickel-plated metal plate fixed on rubber shock absorbers.
