A musical automat in a rectangular housing made of dark gray laminated particle board. On the front side, there are two horizontal panels within narrow polished metal frames. The upper panel, made of acrylic glass, features a multicolored stylized image of an evening street with glowing signs on the buildings. The signs display the names of dances. The lower panel is divided into two hinged doors covered with a metallic woven mesh and secured with a rectangular lock bar bearing the company name and an image of a crown. Inside the doors, low-frequency speakers of a stereo system are mounted. On the top side of the cabinet, there is a polished metal structure with a horizontal panel listing the melodies and a selection keyboard, a coin slot, and a return button, along with rectangular windows displaying informational banners. The list panel consists of five pairs of sections, angled to each other, with eight cells in each section. In total, the list can hold 160 melody titles. Along the back of the panel, there is a narrow banner that highlights the code of the currently playing recording. Above it is the inscription: “SELECTION NOW PLAYING.” The panel is covered with a concave transparent window in a metal frame. The melody selection keyboard consists of three groups of keys: two groups of ten, labeled with letters from the Latin alphabet A to V, and eight numeric keys. Each melody is assigned a code made up of a letter and a number. On the left, there is a "RELEASE" reset key. Continuing from the back wall of the cabinet is a console with a group of six speakers covered with woven metal mesh, featuring a badge that reads “Multi – Channel Stereo.” Below it, there is a panel with a multicolored stylized inscription “SEEBURG DISCOTHÈQUE” against a backdrop of night lights and silhouettes of buildings. On the sides, there are locks on the upper frame and angled images of night streets. On the right side, there is a lid for the coin acceptor and a niche for coin returns. On the back side, there is a green factory badge with the inscription “SEEBURG DISCOTHÈQUE,” a volume control, a melody skip button, a power switch, a secondary off button, and a power cord. Eighty 45 RPM records with a diameter of 175 mm are inserted into the slots of the horizontal magazine. To listen to the melodies, coins must be inserted into the coin slot, and the codes for the selected melodies must be entered on the keyboard. After that, the mechanism moves the carriage along the row of records in the magazine until the selected one is found. The record is loaded into a player with a vertical disc and tonearm, and playback begins. After playback finishes, the record returns to its slot, and the carriage returns to its starting position. The device is equipped with a remote control on a cable for volume adjustment and melody skipping. Musical medium: gramophone records at 45 RPM with a diameter of 175 mm.
