    The logo of manufacturer on the lid inner side - stylized image of a five-pointed star with the words in Cyrillic inscribed in the rays (“СССР/НКТП/Грампласттрест/Владимирский Завод”) and the image of a spiral and gramophone needle. The inscription in Cyrillic on the brake control unit nameplate «ТОРМОЗ/ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ/АВТОМАТИЧ.”; on the speed controller nameplate “МЕДЛЕН/78/БЫСТРО”; on the sound box “ЗАВОД МОЛОТ”


    Gramophone model "PТ-3" is mounted in wooden case in the form of a small suitcase, covered with red fabrikoid. The case hinged lid with latch is fixed in open position by the abutment bar. The carrying handle is on the case lateral side. Swivel sector-like container for gramophone needles is in the right front corner. Metal shelf for records with wire retaining pin is inside the lid. A spring motor with protruding arbor, on which a disk is spindled, is on the panel bottom part. Ornately shaped slot washer fixes presswork turntable with polished rim and rubber flashing on the arbor. The crank on the case right lateral side winds the spring. When inoperative, the crank is lifted up. Brake control lever is located near the turntable to the right; speed controller with the scale is to the left. Tapered tube-shaped tonearm with sound box on the turning bend is behind the panel to the right. Aluminum diaphragm is fixed on the box carbolite base and covered with chrome-plated slotted lid. The needle is fixed in the holder by a knurled screw. A lever that turns auto-stop mechanism that is mounted under the turnable and fixed on the tonearm base. The hidden gramophone horn is located under the panel with sound output from behind the panel. Non operating, the tonearm is embedded inside the horn behind the panel.
