Gramophone with Buddha statue is housed in the octagonal case, with profiled ribs, medallions, a meander and an Ionic ornament on the side panels. The spring driven disc for the record is installed on the top panel. It is covered with burgundy-colored fabric. The removable lid in the form of a tambourine closes the top panel. The crank for the spring winding is on the front panel. Activating buttons are on the side panel. The sound box with cantilever and inscriptions on the diaphragm is connected to the reinforcement in the hollow Buddha statue bottom part via cylindrical curved sound duct. After the record is installed on the disk, the spring is winded and the mechanism is activated, the needle moves along the sound track of the record, transmits mechanical vibrations to the diaphragm, which converts them into sound. Music media: gramophone record.
