Automaton in the form of a girl musician playing a violin is mounted on rectangular pedestal, with rounded corners and covered with red velvet. The girl is dressed in light green jacket with puffy sleeves, trimmed with golden braid. White fur vest is put on over the jacket. She is wearing blouse with collar-apache and folds on the bodice. Narrow cream ribbon bow is beneath the collar. Leather shoes with lacing, trimmed with metal braid are on her feet. She is wearing short striped brown-orange pantaloons with bows on the cuffs. Black high-brimmed hat with red satin ribbon and orange feathers is on the head. The head is made of bisque, eyes are of brown glass, painted eyelashes and eyebrows, white curly hair wig. Earrings of red and blue beads. The musician holds a violin with long neck in her right hand, and a fiddlestick in her left hand.

A keyhole for the winding key and a start/stop button are on the pedestal right side.

When the movement is turned on, the girl's right hand bows along the strings, the head turns from side to side. The actions are accompanied by the sounds of the musical movement with sound comb and cylinder.
