Automaton in the form of a girl’s figure in velvet sailor suit is on the stand covered with dark green velvet. Jacket with a sailor's collar and short black trousers, white collar with two gray stripes of braid along the edge. The jacket is fastened on two pearly buttons; the same buttons are on the sleeves and panties. Light “turtleneck” with two gray stripes on the collar is beneath the jacket. Red satin girdle is on the waist. Brushes and head are made of unglazed porcelain, moving brown eyes with eyelashes. Wig of black short-cut hair and flat straw hat with a black ribbon are on the head. The earrings are made of semi-transparent beads. In her right hand, the girl holds a whip for playing spinner top, an arcuate slot in which brightly coloured top is moving is in front of her.

After turning on the movement the girl flaps a whip, as if adjusting the top, raises and lowers the head. The top spins quickly and moves along the slot in the stand. The movements are accompanied by the sounds of musical movement with cylinder and sound comb. Keyhole and activating button are on the stand rear side.
