Wooden rectangular casket with lock and metal onlay, with two lids. The top one is hinged, the bottom one – with glass. The casket case of the box is painted imitating rosewood with veins. The lid top surface is veneered with mahogany, framed with a frame of birch veneer and decorated with the images of painted floral compositions, flute and a horn, bandaged by ribbon, imitating the marquetry technique. On the inside of the lid is Paper label with a list of tunes is on the lid inner side.

The movement consists of a cylinder and a sound comb for 77 tones. The crank on the case left side winds the musical mechanism. Two levers - one to start/stop the tunes, other for the movement switching on/off are on the right side. Music media: metal cylinder.
