The sculptural group consisting of two figures — a reclining woman and a borzoi standing behind her back — is located on a rectangular base of polished black marble with golden-brown veins. The woman is sitting with her legs extended, leaning with her arms thrown behind her back on a support; her torso is tilted forward, and her head is slightly tilted back and turned to the side. The borzoi stands behind, stretching its muzzle toward the woman's face. The exposed parts of the female figure are covered with silver, while the clothing, hair, and the dog's coat are covered with gold.
