The figure of a dancer is located on a shaped pedestal of black veined marble, captured in a theatrical pose. Slightly tilting her head, she gazes at her reflection in a small circular mirror held in her right hand, while her left hand adjusts her headwear. The girl is clad in an Oriental costume consisting of a textured bustier bodice and harem pants with fringe. Her head is adorned with a capote hat smoothly transitioning into a chainmail collar-necklace that completely covers the neck. Massive bracelets are fixed on the performer's wrists and forearms, and shoes with upturned toes are worn on her feet. The head, hands, exposed part of the abdomen, and legs of the figure are executed in ivory, while the elements of the attire are made of patinated and gilded bronze.
