On an irregularly shaped rectangular base with a high-relief textured terrain representing packed earth and a porch threshold, is a sculptural depiction of celebrating peasants near a log cabin (izba) porch. It features a youngish man wearing a tall felt hat, a belted shirt, and wide pants tucked into his boots, with an armyak coat carelessly slung over his shoulders. Beside him is a young woman wearing an embroidered headband with a frontal ornament, beads around her neck, and a patterned ribbon in her braid, dressed in a wide-sleeved shirt with lace collar, a sarafan, and a vest with trim, with leather shoes on her feet. Leaning against the railings, the village suitor plays the balalaika to his beloved that is sitting next to him on a small bench.
