Classic northern European woodland flower "bleeding hearts" is a popular subject matter in the lapidary arts. The flowers are carved of vivid pink rhodonite, the stamens of white kaschlong opal, with five carved nephrite leaves emerging from a polished rock crystal vase. The circular removable base is formed of polished rock crystal with insert disc of vivid green aventurine quartz, with two borders of 18K gold.
