Oval gold snuffbox with a hinged lid. The surface of the lid and side walls is decorated with an oval medallion and shaped reserves with compositions depicting children, figures in antique garments, doves, and military trophies, executed in the grisaille technique. Each medallion or cartouche is inscribed within a shaped frame with a painted enamel background, floral decor, and a laurel garland, and is divided by a stylized column. Painted floral garland frames the edge of the lid; a chased frieze frames the edge of the rim. The snuffbox is enclosed in an oval case with a hinged lid and two metal clasps on the front wall. The case is covered with leather, its inner surface – fabric.
