Silver rectangular cigarette case, gilded inside, with rounded sides and corners, comprised of two equal halves, connected by hinge, with a snap shutter. Both cigarette case lids are decorated with ornamental compositions in the Neo-Russian style. A breast-high image of the Russian bogatyr (a hero of folk Russian legends) on patrol, in helmet, chain armor and with a shield on landscape background is on the upper lid. The composition, separated by a conventional frame, is located on the top part of the upper lid and is framed with a spiral ornament of curls, lozenges, rings and lush fancy flowers on red-brown, blue and greenish-yellow enamel background. A similar ornament, but with the image of a fancy flower on white enamel background in the top part, adorns the bottom lid of the cigarette case. A belt of floral-geometric ornament, located on green enamel background frames the lids edges; the corners of the cigarette case are accented with spiral curls on white enamel background. The shutter button is decorated with blue oval cabochon in smooth bezel setting. The enamels colour range is based on the combination of red-brown, yellow, blue, navy-blue, white, green and purple tints.
